About the Artist
Sigi Contreras lives in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. Sigi started making jewelry as a hobby but, eventually it became a full time job and he has been doing it for almost 10 years. His favorite techniques are bead embroidery and peyote stitch, but he loves to explore and use every single technique he knows, and learn new ones every time he can. He also loves working with polymer clay and makes most of the cabochons in his projects. Mixed media projects are his favorites and most of the time he includes more than one technique in his designs.
